You can make it virgin and non virgin! I am providing both recipes so you can choose which one to make!
Every time we go to a restaurant that serves this delicious Lava Flow drink, the hubs always orders one, then a second, then a third and then he has to take his meal to-go because after so many of these, he always feels full! He just loves them!
He always orders the virgin version. I on the other hand, always go for the non-virgin-gimme-a-cocktail version!
A couple of weeks ago, the hubs got very sick and ended up in the hospital for a couple of days. It was awful! He was so miserable and weak. The entire time I prayed that he would be well, healed and back home. At the same time, I keep thinking what can I make/cook for him to make him happy?? (cooking is how I show my love and food is always in my mind).
He was put on heavy duty antibiotics so I knew I had to feed him wholesome and nutritious foods with lots of probiotics. As soon as I got home I made him Slow Cooker Beef Bone Broth to sip throughout the day. I also made a huge batch of Basic Chicken Stock to use as a base for cooking rice, quinoa and veggies.
But of course, those things make ME happy, him? not so much…..
Then I had an AHA moment, pulled out my blender and made this Lava Flow drink!
I had to tell the kids to stay away from it until daddy got at least a couple of glasses. Yeah that didn’t work very well! But at the end I know they all love it and they were all very happy!!!
After that I called my mom and made us a Lava Flow Cocktail. Before we started sipping we praise God for Scott’s healing and thank Him for His mercies!
We sat in the couch and sipped away, feeling relaxed and thankful. Oh the little things in life…..
