- Whipped Cream Vodka: This delicious birthday cake martini has the distinct flavors of vanilla bean and whipped cream. This is achieved by using a flavored vodka such as vanilla vodka or Smirnoff iced cake vodka.
- White Chocolate Liqueur: The rich and creamy quality of white chocolate liqueur, with its flavorful vanilla bean taste, makes the most perfect dessert cocktail. Another option is to use crème de cacao which is similar in taste but doesn’t have the creaminess of white chocolate liqueur.
- Amaretto: The perfect way to add some nuttiness to this birthday cocktail is with this popular sweet Italian liqueur. Fragrant toasted almonds compliment the flavors of this vanilla and white chocolate cocktail. Good substitutions are hazelnut liqueur or coconut liqueur.
- Half and Half: Adds richness and creaminess to this birthday drink. For a thicker and richer cocktail, you can use heavy cream. For a less rich and thinner but still delicious option, you can use whole milk or 2% milk. Feel free to use plant-based milk or heavy cream. Coconut cream, coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk and soy milk are good options.
- Sprinkles: It’s not a birthday party without the rainbow sprinkles. Feel free to use any other type of sprinkles or sanding sugars.
- Martini Glasses Rim: A sticky ingredients such as honey, maple syrup, simple syrup or melted white chocolate act as the glue to keep the sprinkles attached to the rim of the glass.
