Lava Flow is a tropical drink that mixes pineapple, coconut and strawberries to create a sweet, delicious and refreshing drink. One sip will transport you to a beautiful tropical island. It’s like paradise in a glass!!! You can make it virgin and non virgin! I am providing both recipes so you can choose which one to make!
Every time we go to a restaurant that serves this delicious tropical drink, the hubs always orders one, then a second, then a third and then he has to take his meal to-go because after so many of these, he always feels full! He just loves them!
He always orders the virgin version. I on the other hand, always go for the non-virgin-gimme-a-cocktail version!
What is a Lava Flow Drink?
Lava Flow Drink is a tropical cocktail made with pineapple, coconut and strawberries. The alcoholic version includes rum.
How To Make a Lava Flow Drink?
- They key in making this cocktail, is mixing the red ingredients separate from the white ones! This will help create the “lava effect” when you pour it.
- First place the frozen strawberries and both rums in a blender. Process and pour the mixture in a serving glass or pitcher.
- Clean the blender – you want to do the white color ingredients now!
- Blend the pineapple juice and cream of coconut. Slowly pour this mixture over the strawberry mixture and see the magic happen!
