Crunchy Chicken Parmesan Topping
To make this recipe healthier and easier to make, I kept the chicken without any breading. If you would like to add a little crunch to your Parmesan pasta, here’s what to do:
- Combine 1/2 cup of Panko bread crumbs with 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning or dried parsley and 1 or 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Top the cheesy chicken penne pasta with the mixture and bake. You can place the skillet under the broiler if you want the breadcrumbs to be a little bit more golden.
