Parker House Rolls

I made these rolls for dinner last night and they were incredible! Definitely making them again for the holidays!

INGREDIENTS

Active Dry Yeast

Butter

+

Milk

+

Flour

+

Pecans

+

Salt

+

Bread Flour

Proof the yeast according to instructions.

Melt the butter, mix it with the milk and heat it.

Combine the yeast mixture with the milk mixture and the remaining sugar.

Add the bread flour and salt and mix to combine.

Add the all-purpose flour and mix until just incorporated.

Bring the dough together into a ball.

Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a bowl and let it rest until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough into equal pieces and form each into a ball.

Place the balls in a baking pan and allow them to rest one more time.

Make a crease on each roll, brush the rolls with butter and bake.

Serve and enjoy!

To make this homemade bread even more decadent, brush the warm rolls with melted butter and sprinkle them  with flaky salt.
