Chicken and Mushrooms

Flour and Butter

INGREDIENTS

Mushrooms

Parmesan Cheese

White Wine

+

Chicken Stock

+

Heavy Cream

Chicken Breast

Garlic and Oil

Italian Seasoning

Salt and Black Pepper

Slice the breast in half lengthwise, pat it dry and season with salt.

Dredge the chicken in a mix of flour, garlic powder and black pepper.

Brown the chicken until golden brown and just cooked through.

Sauté mushrooms with butter until they look soft and a bit golden on the edges.

Season, deglaze with wine, add chicken stock and Italian seasoning and cook.

Stir in the heavy cream and simmer, then add the Parmesan cheese.

Return the chicken to the skillet for a couple of minutes. Season to taste and garnish.

Serve and enjoy!

When making the mushroom sauce with wine, the alcohol cooks off so it’s safe to serve this dish to children. If preferred, substitute the wine with chicken stock.
