Buttermilk Biscuits

Great biscuits! Served with your chicken ala king. Wonderful together.

INGREDIENTS

Buttermilk

Sour Cream

+

Butter

+

Flour

+

Baking Powder

+

Salt

In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and the buttermilk.

In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients and the butter.

With a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the flour mix.

Add the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it comes together.

With a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a square, then fold it into thirds.

Roll it out again and cut the dough into circles.

Brush with melted butter and bake.

Serve and enjoy!

When cutting your biscuits, don’t twist the biscuit cutter. This seals the edges preventing the layers from raising.
