Maple Balsamic Glazed Chicken

The flavor was amazing and SO easy! This is the second time I am making it!

INGREDIENTS

Balsamic Vinegar

Maple Syrup

Chicken Breasts

Broth

Garlic

Dijon Mustard

Pat the chicken dry, slice each breast horizontally into two cutlets, and season with salt and pepper.

1

Whisk the maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and cayenne in a small bowl.

2

Sear the chicken for about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Transfer them to a plate when they are nearly cooked through.

3

Lower the heat. Cook garlic and add broth, scraping up browned bits. Boil until reduced by half.

4

Stir in the maple-balsamic mixture. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

5

Serve and enjoy!

Reduce the broth first: Maple syrup contains sugars that can scorch. Reducing the broth before adding the maple mixture protects the glaze from excessive high heat.
