Vegan Gravy

This was the easiest vegan gravy recipe I have tried and it was by far the tastiest

Flour

INGREDIENTS

Vegetable Stock

Onion and Garlic

+

Olive Oil

+

Baby Portobello Mushrooms

+

Nutritional Yeast

+

Soy Sauce

+

Dried Shiitake Mushrooms

+

White Miso

+

Rosemary

+

Thyme

+

Ground Black Pepper

Bring the vegetable broth to a boil, turn the heat off and  rehydrate the mushrooms.

Sauté the onions, garlic and mushrooms until aromatic.

Sprinkle flour over the onion mixture while stirring constantly.

Add the mushrooms with their liquid and the rest of ingredients. Stir until a sauce forms.

Transfer the sauce to a blender and process until your desired consistency.

Simmer for about 3 minutes and adjust seasoning.

Serve and enjoy!

If you prefer your gravy with a lot of texture, only blend part of the mixture.
