Truffle Brownies

These are so chewy and chocolaty! I’m never going back to regular brownies.

Vanilla Extract

INGREDIENTS

Sugar

Eggs

Walnuts

Heavy Whipping Cream

+

Butter

+

Flour

Salt

Bittersweet Chocolate

Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl set overtop of a pan of simmering water.

Add sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to a large bowl and mix.

Gradually add the chocolate mixture, constantly stirring.

Stir in the flour and walnuts.

Pour the brownie batter into a prepared pan and bake.

Warm the cream in a small saucepan and add the rest of the chocolate.

Spread the melted chocolate over the cooled brownies to create the truffle layer.

Serve and enjoy!

You can melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave in small intervals instead of using a bowl sitting on a pot of water (double boiler).
