Black gel food color (optional)

Unsalted butter

Powdered sugar

Milk

Jumbo marshmallows

Whisk the dry ingredients all together in one large mixing bowl

In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients.

Slowly pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix to combine.

Divide the batter between two prepared cake pans. Bake for about 25 minutes.

In a large bowl, mix together the frosting ingredients. Mix well.

Spread the frosting evenly with an offset spatula.

Melt the marshmallows in the microwave for about 30''

Stretch the warm melted marshmallow mixture until thin and web-like. Wrap them around the cake.

Making the marshmallow web is fun but messy. I recommend you wear gloves to handle the sticky warm marshmallow.
