TURKEY BREAST

I have made this recipe twice since thanksgiving. We love it. Followed the recipe exactly and came out nice, tasty and moist.

INGREDIENTS

Soy Sauce

Black Pepper

Turkey Breast

Salt

Carrots

Onion

Celery Stalk

Cooking Liquid

Make the Flavored Butter by mixing the ingredients in a small bowl.

Slather the herb butter all over the turkey breast and under the skin.

Place the aromatics, turkey and herb butter on the Crockpot. Cook for 4-5 hours.

Place the turkey breast skin side up on a baking sheet and broil for a few minutes.

To make the gravy, strain the liquid from the slow cooker into a measuring cup.

In a saucepan melt butter and whisk in the flour. Slowly add the liquid.

Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and season to taste.

Serve and enjoy!

To make sure the turkey is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker when the temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature will continue to rise while resting.
