Parker House Rolls

Yes, it takes only 1 hour! I loved this recipe!!! I’ll be making it again for thanksgiving and Christmas.

Butter

INGREDIENTS

Active Dry Yeast

Flour

Water

+

Honey

+

Garlic

+

Salt

+

Milk

Parsley

Stir together the wet ingredients and heat the mixture until it reaches 110 degrees.

Pour the warm liquid mixture into the bowl, sprinkle the yeast over and let it sit for about 5 min.

Add 3 1/2 cups of the flour and the salt and mix until combined.

Slowly add additional flour until the dough no longer sticks.

Form the dough into a ball, cover it and let it rise for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into 15 equal pieces and form into dough balls.

Cover and allow to rise once again.

Bake until golden brown.

Make the garlic herb butter by melting the butter and adding the salt and parsley.

Remove the rolls from the oven and brush with the butter.

Serve and enjoy!

Make sure your liquids reach about 110ºF before you add the yeast. That is lukewarm, not hot. Both cold and hot liquids will kill the yeast.
