Beef and Barley Soup

Oil

Celery and Garlic

Onions and Carrots

Beef

+

Pearl Barley

+

Red Wine and Broth

+

Tomato Paste

+

Fresh Thyme and Parsley

+

Dried Bay Leaf

+

Worcestershire sauce

+

Chicken Bouillon

+

Salt and Black Pepper

Season the beef and sear it in the Instant Pot.

Sauté de veggies.

Pour the wine and simmer.

Return the beef to the pot. Add the barley and the rest of ingredients.

Cover, seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 30 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!

Sautéing the beef before pressure cooking the soup is not a requirement but adds an additional layer of flavors.
