Cauliflower Gratin

INGREDIENTS

Milk

White Cheddar

+

Gruyere Cheese

Cauliflower

+

Butter

+

Flour

Panko Breadcrumbs

Nutmeg

Ground Black Pepper

Cook the cauliflower until tender but firm.

Make the roux by combining the melted butter and flour.

Pour the milk slowly into the roux to make the creamy sauce.

Remove the sauce from the heat and season it.

Add the cheese and mix until it has melted and the sauce is smooth.

To make the Panko topping, combine the butter, breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.

Pour some of the cheese sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.

Top it with cauliflower and then pour the rest of the sauce over the cauliflower.

Sprinkle the Panko breadcrumbs over the cauliflower and cream sauce and bake.

Serve and enjoy!

Don’t overcook the cauliflower before you bake it. You only want to cook it until al dente.
