Cake mix cookies are one of the easiest cookies to make and a great recipe to have handy for busy times like holidays and special occasions.

In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter.

Add the egg, vanilla extract and salt and beat to combine.

Stir in the cake mix and beat until combined.

Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll them into the sprinkles.

Place the dough balls on the prepared baking pan and bake.

Remove the cookies from the oven and push the Easter chocolate eggs in the middle.
