ORANGE BISCOTTI

These Italian Biscotti cookies are perfect to dunk into your favorite drink and a great addition to your holiday cookie plate!

Granulated Sugar

INGREDIENTS

Flour

Orange or Almond Extract

Orange Zest

+

Eggs

+

Fruits and Nuts

Coarse Sprinkling Sugar

Salt

Butter

Mix the dry Ingredients.

Whisk together the eggs, melted butter and the orange extract.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until combined.

Divide dough into two logs and bake.

Sprinkle sparkling sugar and bake until lightly golden around the edges.

Cut into slices that are about 1-inch thick.

Arrange the slices on the baking sheet, return to the oven and bake.

Serve and enjoy!

After the first bake, let the loaves cool 5-10 minutes before transferring them to a cutting board. The dough will be easier to handle after it cools a bit.
