Chicken A La King

Flour

INGREDIENTS

Broth

+

Half and Half

+

Mushrooms

+

Chicken Breast

+

Frozen Peas

+

Onions

+

Butter

+

Bell Peppers

+

Pepper Corn and Bay Leaf

Dried Mustard

+

Salt and Black Pepper

Cook the chicken.

In a skillet, melt butter and saute the vegetables.

Cut the chicken into bite size pieces.

In the same skillet, melt the rest of the butter and add the flour.

Ladle the poaching liquid/broth slowly, whisking constantly.

Stir in the Half and Half and add the seasonings.

Return all the ingredients to the skillet and mix to combine.

Serve and enjoy!

This easy and tasty recipe can be made with other proteins like shrimp, scallops or canned solid white tuna (in water).
