Bananas Foster Pancakes

I love your bananas foster French toast so this for sure will become my next favorite!

Eggs

INGREDIENTS

Brown Sugar

Whole Milk

Butter

+

Granulated Sugar

+

Dark Rum

+

Baking Powder

+

Maple Syrup

+

Vanilla Extract

+

Bananas

+

Flour

Mix the dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, mash the banana with a fork until almost smooth.

Add the wet ingredients.

Pour the banana mixture into the flour mixture, and gently mix until combined.

Heat butter and whisk in the brown sugar and maple syrup. Then add pecans and banana slices, and cook.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the rum. Then return the pan to heat and cook to burn off the alcohol.

Cook the pancakes according to instructions provided.

To serve, spoon the banana topping over the pancakes.

Enjoy!

Although the alcohol in rum burns off while the banana foster sauce cooks, you can use rum extract if preferred.
