Banana Foster French Toast

Half and Half

INGREDIENTS

Brioche Bread

+

Butter

+

Eggs

+

Cinnamon

+

Vanilla Extract

+

Brown Sugar

+

+

Bananas

+

Maple Sugar

+

Rum

+

Pecans

In a bowl, mix the eggs, vanilla and cinnamon

Add half and half and whisk until well combined.

In batches, dip the bread slices into the custard to coat both sides.

Place the bread in the preheated skillet and cook until golden brown.

To make the topping, melt the butter, then add the brown sugar and maple syrup.

Cook until the sugar has melted and the mixture has thickened slightly.

Stir in the pecans. Then add the banana slices and cook for about a minute.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the rum.

Return the pan to the heat and cook for a couple of minutes.

Serve and enjoy!
