Walnuts

Pistachios

Ground Cinnamon

Butter

+

Honey

Lemon Juice

Phyllo Dough

Combine the syrup ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Chop the nuts and mix with cinnamon.

To assemble the baklava, layer 10 phyllo sheets, brushing with butter between each sheet.

Add 3/4 cup of the walnut mixture.

Continue assembling the baklava according to instructions provided.

Bake until golden brown.

Pour the syrup over the baklava.

Make the syrup before baking the dessert. Give the syrup plenty of time to cool completely.
