The right balance of sweet and tart, with the warmth of bourbon and subtle orange tones. This Cranberry Maple Bourbon Cocktail is bright, delicious, and perfect for the holiday season!
This Cranberry Maple Bourbon Cocktail post is sponsored by Drizly. As always, photos, recipes and opinions are mine.
I was planning a holiday get together with friends and I knew I wanted to make a cocktail that represented the holidays and the weather perfectly (it’s getting very cold in this area). It also had to be easy to make, but spectacular. It’s the holidays after all!!!
So of course first things first, the gathering of ingredients! Did I ever tell you I don’t like to go shopping? For me, there is nothing better and more convenient than online shopping. Easy, fast and I can do it while sitting on the couch wearing my pajamas. What could be better than that?
Searching for a way to buy everything needed online, I learned about Drizly and I thought, “What a great idea!!. Where have you been all my life?”
If you haven’t heard, Drizly is the biggest alcohol delivery service in the country. All you have to do is place your order online from your computer or smart phone and they deliver to your door within the hour! Hello greatness!
They partner with local retailers so you are still supporting your community. Best part is there’s no extra cost to you! (Do you hear me sing hallelujah?)
Cranberry Maple Bourbon Cocktail
To make it super festive, I added some sugared cranberries as a garnish. They are totally optional but I highly recommend them. Not only do they make the drink look beautiful, they are easy to make, delicious and totally addictive. Use some for garnish and snack on the rest while shopping online (or watching TV). Perhaps sharing them with your guest is also a good idea…..
- I used Grand Marnier for this cocktail.
- This recipe makes a large cocktail (I used a double old fashioned glass)
- Shake, shake, shake and then shake some more! Strain and pour over ice.
